Design first, but content is just as important. Can't have a pretty-looking site with barely anything of substance.

A bit of all three, really.

39. Do you do web design professionally?

Nope.

I think it would be pretty cool to get paid to make websites. I'm currently both a freelance artist and CNA nurse.

41. Do you communicate with people by email very much?

Very often. It's like my go-to way to communicate. If not, Discord works too.

42. Some people reject social media and use websites as a replacement. Do you keep social media outside of your website?

I only keep Tiktok, Reddit and YouTube. I got rid of Twitter around 2019 because of Elon and in general it's a miserable site filled with the most toxic people. I moved to Bluesky after 2024 and I do use it more, but not by much. I used to use Instagram a lot in the late 2010s, but now I rarely ever use Instagram because of the horrible updates. It's basically an inferior version of Tiktok with everyone acting like a monitoring spirit. Also, the algorithm barely pushes art onto my feed anymore, which was the only reason why I had the app.

43. How about instant messengers? Do you use a mainstream one like Discord or Telegram? Or something like Matrix? Do you avoid them?

Absolutely keeping Discord. That's where all my friends, roleplay partners, and organizations I'm a part of congregate. I use WhatsApp for my family abroad. I do have a Telegram too, but I don't use it that often.

Yep, mostly K-pop and Visual Kei. I do listen to Lady Gaga or Michael Jackson ocassionally.

Many topics, but their split up in tabs and other pages.

47. Do you present your real self, or at least try? Or do you construct a persona on purpose?

Both. I want to be my authentic self, but I also use a persona. I try to mix the two.

Not yet, but I hope so soon.

49. Are you happy with the way HTML and CSS currently work?

For now, yes.

50. What are practices that you think people should avoid?

Autoplay. Nothing against autoplay, but I want to listen to my music, not yours.

51. What about under-utilised practices, or things you think people should do more?

Eh, I don't know. I'm aware that everyone's skill level is different when it comes to building a website, so I don't have a stong opinion.

52. Do you use a lot of semantic HTML? Or are you guilty of generic structure?

What?

53. Do you consider different browsers?

Not really. Most people just default to Google Chrome, but I do know some some people who prefer to use FireFox or some other browser like Brave or Tor. I can only hope that my website works on those browsers (I work in Brave, which is just Google Chrome without the invasive ads).

54. Speaking of, what's your preferred browser? Convince your readers why they should use it.

Brave Browser. I can't really say much than it's a Chromium Browser (i.e. works exactly like Google Chrome) and has a built-in ad blocker. Sometimes the Tor Browser, but please only install it if you plan to surf the dark web (even then, you have to be very careful where you go).

55. And what OS are you on?
