Hello. My name is Bonnelle but you can call me Bon or Bonnie. I'm a 21-year-old stressed-out college student who loves video games to a fault and loves to write fan works to burn off steam once in a while. My AO3 is BonDeSoren. Nowadays, I exclusively play just Overwatch and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, but I've been trying to get into other games at the moment and I have a whole bucket list of games I have to finish at some point.

When it comes to fandoms, aside from being an Overwatch and Smash Bros. fan, I'm also a fan of Fire Emblem, Uncharted, The Legend of Zelda, and other fandoms. My stories and ships are almost always multiverse related because I love taking characters from different verses and imagining what it would be like if they got to meet each other.

Fair warning that this journal may have some triggering content. Read or follow at your own risk. I am not responsible for how your react towards my posts. If you do not like my posts, block me at your own volition. I will not engage in a petty argument with you. I can be civil, but if you're going to cry that I wrote something offensive, well boo-hoo for you. This is my journal and what I say goes. Rarely do I ever block others because I like to hear from all perspectives, but like I said, I won't argue with you if I wrote something that has offended you and you're going to act like a child over it.

For the most part, I'll make this journal partially open to the public. You'll be able to read my fan works at your leisure, but personal posts will remain private unless I say so. If you would like to know me better as a person, feel free to ask me.

This year’s been a busy one for me, but I’m glad another year has passed. I still can’t believe that a whole decade has passed...

My New Years resolutions for 2020?

-Finish strong for the spring semester

-Draw more digitally since I have an iPad now, especially environments and figures.

-Write more original works

-Write more fan works

-Catch up and finish all the games I have.

-Start collecting figures

-Get an internship

-Go to Siggraph this year

-Finish more 3D projects

Uncharted: A Thieve's End Quote

I found this old gif of the beginning of Uncharted 4 quoting Henry Avery. Not my favorite game in the entire franchise, but I do love this quote.

Also, I'm still upset that they dropped the original plot of the game where Sam was the main villain and Drake and Elena share a dance together.

Snowflake Challenge #1: Introductions!

Introduce yourself in your own space! I'm a day late to the party, but here goes!

Bonjour! My name is Bonnelle Joyeux, but you can call me Bon or Bonnie for short. My AO3 is BonDeSoren and you can find my intro post here and my bio here. In a nutshell, I'm a 21-year-old college art student who loves video games and need to write more because my motivation to write again was reignited by the end of November last year. I decided to keep an online journal to document my thoughts and fanfics, so here it is! Currently, I'm writing a Super Smash Bros. fanfic called Harmonious Temptations.

My love for writing fics started in middle school with a Playstation All-Stars School AU fanfic, but I started branching out to other fandoms, writing mostly adventure stories with a dash of romance. My interest in the arts stems from middle school and I draw both digitally and traditionally. I hope to one day attend a convention and cosplay as one of my favorite characters. I'm also a music lover and have too many playlists for my own good...

My journal is mostly just ramblings, but I do have a tendency to post gifs along with my posts. I usually quote phrases from my favorite movies and updates on what's happening in the gaming scene. Currently, I'm challenging myself to write a daily headcannon list of my favorite characters. 2 down, 29 more to go.

I'm also a veteran role player since 2015. It all started with me roleplaying as Princess Zelda in a now defunct panfandom rp forum. Now, I have a whole list of characters I usually play as in different fandoms. My current muses right now are Princess Corrin from Fire Emblem Fates, Claude von Riegan from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Widowmaker from Overwatch.

My fandoms are mostly just video games. The fandoms that I'm mostly involved in are Super Smash Brothers, Overwatch, The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem, Uncharted, Gravity Rush, Detroit: Become Human, Animal Crossing, Persona, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Nier: Automata, Golden Sun, and Darkstalkers. I have a whole lot of other fandoms that I'm actively involved in, but expect me to talk about the ones I just listed the most. Smash Bros. and Overwatch are by far my favorite fandoms that I'm mostly involved in. Non video-game fandoms are Vampire Knight, Fullmetal Alchemist, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and True Blood to name a few.

And don't get me started with my ships. I have way too many to keep track of, but my ships are mostly multiverse related and the one ship I'm obsessed about now is Belsland (Morrigan Aensland from Darkstalkers & Richter Belmont from Castlevania).

Back To University

Well, I'm back in college again and discovered my fridge was covered in mold...

Also, I have a whole bunch of stuff to buy for this semester, including more ink and a portfolio.

My entries might be a bit slower from here on out...

UPDATE

The first week of class was alright. Just turned in my storyboards for one class and bought all my supplies for Figure Class. I also started to watch Family Ties and I'm on the fourth season now. And I just finished watching the Back to the Future trilogy. Man, those movies never get old. Never make a remake. BTTF is perfect the way it is.

Also, I forgot to cancel my subscription to PlayStation Plus... That's $10.81 dollars down the drain tonight...

And I finally got started on writing the next chapter for Harmonious Temptations and finally wrote the smut scene.

Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the final fighter for the Smash Bros. Fighter Pass. Personally, I don't really care that much for Byleth. I mean, they look fun to play and I like Three Houses, but it was too predictable. They pulled a Smash 4. It's like Corrin's inclusion all over again. I'd rather have Dante or any other Capcom character tbh. I feel bad though because Byleth's already getting a lot of hate from the Smash Community and Sakurai is getting death threats from "fans" again.

I wish they didn't act like this when a new character comes out. It's just a game, people.

At least another Fighter Pass is in the works with 6 more characters coming to Smash. Also... Cuphead stole the show. More people care for Cuphead than they do Byleth. It's like the Terry and Sans situation all over again. I think this might become a recurring thing from here on out.

Still holding hope to see Dante in Smash (or Phoenix Wright or Morrigan Aensland. Any of them will do).

RP Nation vs. Black Dahlia Roleplay

Long story short, RP Nation banned my account for "sexual and other mature content." SMH. Excuse me, but I'm tired of writing with people with the most basic anime-tropish characters who always turn the romance into a sappy shojo manga cliche or characters who are essentially god-tier and nothing can hurt them. Last time I'll ever spend another moment on that site.

Went back to Black Dahlia Roleplay. Much better community with great writers who aren't afraid to dabble in mature themes. I've recently found a partner who wants to roleplay a Legend of Zelda AU RP. This site is so much better.
